Where’s the investment going?
Convergence is investing in a range of activities all aimed at strengthening our economy. These investments are grouped together in four themes:
- Developing our people
- Strengthening business
- Investing in our future
- Making connections
The Convergence investments are also grouped separately as ERDF and ESF investments.
(Some of the investments could be classified into more than one theme but these have only been listed in their main theme.)
Each investment must also address the cross cutting themes and case studies of good practice in the integration of the environment and equal opportunities and diversity into Convergence investments will be available.
In both the ERDF / ESF and thematic listings each of the investments is briefly described, alongside the envisaged economic outcomes and the amount of investment.
