Bodmin Masterplan (Cornwall Council)

This investment will develop a Vision and Masterplan for Bodmin, to guide future development within the town.

Key objectives include:

  • Achieving a balance between housing, employment, community facilities and other infrastructure
  • Providing a range of good quality, well-paid jobs for the local workforce
  • Establishing and generating a higher level of investor interest, confidence and commitment to innovative development in Bodmin
  • Achieving high quality urban and architectural design
  • Providing sustainable transport links within the town and reducing the need to travel

North Cornwall District Council will lead work on the Vision and the Masterplan which will both link to the recently prepared Bodmin Strategic Investment Framework, the new Cornwall Local Development Framework and the recently completed Bodmin Town Centre Framework Plan.
