The project involves the construction of a new 827 sqm operations facility for the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust at Trevithick Downs situated to the south side of Newquay Cornwall Airport (adjacent to the A3059).
CAAT Overhead perspective
The hangar and helipad will effectively form part of the “air side” of Newquay Cornwall Airport; the offices and ancillary accommodation together with the car parking will be “land side” facilities.
The facility will include connectivity to telephone and IT networks including provision for Next Generation Broadband.
The development has been designed to be flexible with the potential to accommodate other sectors including aviation and technology based industries.
The new facility will support the creation of up to four new posts, including two part-time staff.
