Cornwall Marketing (Cornwall Development Company)
Cornwall Marketing aims to benefit Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly’s businesses by providing a nationwide marketing campaign promoting Cornwall’s business environment and products. It is also intended to stimulate the local economy by attracting foreign direct investment to the area, leading to job creation and increased business activity.
The investment consists of two main elements:
- A promotional campaign highlighting Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly’s strengths as a business location and the quality of goods and services provided by businesses based in this area.
- Marketing showcasing Cornwall and Isles of Scilly to countries outside the European Union, particularly as a location for foreign direct investment. This new inward investor service will be known as InvestinCornwall.
A key outcome of the project will be the creation of publicity material such as information packs and a prominent presence on the worldwide web to reinforce the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly offer.
