This investment will deliver 608 sq m of business workspace at the former Helston Cattle Market site, consisting of three ‘micro business’ units, a meeting room and an open plan ‘business hub’.
Work begins at Helston Cattle Market
The workspace forms part of a larger project to demolish the existing semi derelict cattle market buildings and to construct a 'business and community hub' which will provide space for training, a farmers' market and community focused activities in addition to the dedicated business space.
The office suites, located on the first floor of the development, will be leased individually to micro-businesses or used to accommodate ‘hot desks’ on a rental basis. The business hub can also be configured to create additional space for businesses based in the office suites, but is primarily intended as an ‘easy in, easy out’ hotdesk solution for local businesses. In-house reception and secretarial services will be provided as well as a meeting room.
