Higher Education Development: Penwith (Truro Penwith College)

The Convergence Programme is investing in the expansion of Higher Education in Penzance as part of the Combined Universities in Cornwall initiative.  The expansion, led by Truro and Penwith College, will involve new and refurbished buildings and is part of a wider scheme to redevelop Penwith College campus and create new facilities for tertiary education.

Plans include improving facilities and providing a wider range of Higher Education courses at Penwith College, enhancing educational opportunities in the Penzance area.

How much?

The ERDF Convergence Programme is investing £4 million, with the South West Regional Development Agency and Penwith College contributing approx. £2 million each.
