Peninsula Dental School - Capital Build (University of Plymouth)

The Convergence Programme is investing in the Peninsula Dental School, the first new dental school in the UK for 40 years to widen education and research opportunities in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. This investment will support the construction of a four storey extension at the Knowledge Spa on the site of the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro.

What?

The extension will house:

This will allow the development of an internationally relevant research programme with strong links to the local business community and facilitate the delivery of new undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes.

The ERDF Convergence Programme is also investing in the development of research facilities at the new Peninsula Dental School.

Who?

The University of Plymouth is the applicant for this investment which will be delivered by Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry (University of Exeter and University of Plymouth), and the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust.
