Programmes for the Unemployed (A4E Ltd)

Programmes for the Unemployed will provide opportunities for people to improve their skills so they can fulfil their aspirations and achieve sustained employment, self-employment or undertake an apprenticeship. Individuals will be able to participate in training and work towards qualifications in support of these aims.

Outcomes will include:

  • Skills for Life achievements
  • Vocational qualification and training achievements
  • Improved employability skills
  • Improved soft skills

Eligibility

  • Participants aged 18+ / 18-24 for apprenticeships
  • People who are unemployed and on Active Benefits such as Jobseeker's Allowance or Employment Support Allowance (those in the Work Related Activity Group, WRAG)
  • People resident in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly
