Skills Support for Redundancy (A4E Ltd)

Skills Support for Redundancy aims to help people newly made redundant back into work through the provision of up-skilling and retraining.

Participants will be able to access training and work towards qualifications with the aim of securing sustainable employment or self-employment.

Outcomes will include:

• Skills for Life achievements
• Vocational qualification and training achievements
• Improved employability skills
• Improved soft skills

Eligibility:

• Those under Notice of Redundancy/Redundancy consultation.
• Individuals who are notified of down-sizing.
• Newly unemployed including those who are not yet claiming benefits and those who have recently started claiming Jobseekers Allowance or Employment and Support Allowance.
• Resident or working in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
