“New businesses are the future generators of wealth creation for this region and the UK and there is an increasing culture of entrepreneurship amongst young people in this region. We can help such businesses access the funding, knowledge, expertise and networks needed to boost their growth. I look forward to assisting potential entrepreneurs who want to get started in business as well as start-up companies who would like help in particular business areas so that they can develop further.”Sarah Livingstone, Project Manager for the Starting a High Growth Business Programme, Oxford Innovation Ltd

Equality and Diversity

GrowCornwall, through its Starting a High Growth and Coaching for High Growth business programmes, will aim to reduce barriers to access to its business support by taking into consideration, or in some cases, specifically focusing on the particular needs of people who are disadvantaged or discriminated against through age, disability, race, gender or transgender, religion or belief and sexual orientation. It may also include efforts to specifically target and support female led start-up businesses. We will consider how well local Solutions for Business partners know and understand the nature and extent of inequality within Cornwall and how effectively we can work together reduce barriers to business support.
