Joint Local Management Committee (ERDF) and Regional Committee (ESF)
From October 2011 the role of the Programme Monitoring Committee has been taken on by the Convergence Joint Local Management Committee (ERDF) and Regional Committee (ESF) known as the LMC and chaired by CLG. The LMC includes representatives from the Local Enterprise Partnership.
Programme Monitoring Committee
Until 2011 the Programme Monitoring Committee (PMC) set up in accordance with the European regulations, had a key strategic role, alongside the Managing Authorities, in the implementation of the Convergence in satisfying itself of the quality and effectiveness of the implementation of Convergence.
The PMC was chaired by Government Office for the South West (GOSW), with secretariat provided by the South West RDA for ERDF and GOSW for ESF, and its membership is drawn from across the Partnership including the public, private and community sectors.
Partnership Delivery Group
The Partnership Delivery Group (formerly the Partnership Delivery Board) has been established by the PMC to help ensure the day-to-day delivery of Convergence in relation to key investment streams and delivery methods. This work does not redefine Convergence but rather provides public sector cross-partner leadership. The work of this group has been taken on by the CMG.
